Try a different template any one of the others.
Your work space has no other files in it.
    You purged your browser cache.

I've tried a couple of templates, (both dog ones), re downloaded and unzipped them.
I just uploaded the "Gamezone" site and same story.
I've created dedicated directories on my desktop for the different templates.
I've tried a couple different browsers, one, which I just installed and is brand new.

    I'm not givin' up!

Well maybe it is time to call your ISP and have them take a look at their server.
It could very well be a problem on their end.

This is a grab of the web page as it shows now.
Also, the source, local compared to remote.

Why are the forward slashes red? Is that a conflicting code thing?

    checkout free web host 000webhost.com
They might work better than your phone company.

    I'll do that.
In the mean time, I'm seeing a pattern. My ftp doesn't seem to be able to handle anything XHTML 1. Weird, I know. I can dump HTML 4 sites and they pop up no problem.

Is there a way to translate?

if you mean your FTP program Zilezilla, it can handle any file type.
Go into settings and look at file types.
Sure learn html and css code and understand DTD (Document Type Definition)
A DTD defines the document structure with a list of legal elements and attributes.
It is what is you find at the top of a html file.
You declare the document type and code your page accordingly.
Are you sure you are ready for that right now.

No...I meant automated. I've burned up my time allotted and I can't go through the code manually. That would take weeks!

I uploaded your template to 000webhost.
It worked without a hitch. I see that I get 100mb!
I get 10mb with my isp.
Problem solved I guess. Sorry Warwick.net!
