General downloaded template does not show the same

I have downloaded 2 templates and they both appear different in dreamweaver which makes it difficult to alter them. Please see screenshot - do I have to do something to dreamweaver to make them appear ok or how do i move the bit around so it looks right. It looks fine when previewed in browser so i dont understand why it looks different in dreamweaver,. Thanks. This is normal behavior for dreamweaver.
I am not sure why the WYSIWYG but it should look great in any browser except IE7. I am using this same template and the problem I had was the css code which does not read properly in IE7.
I see you posted this 2006 so you problably already figure this out
