I've never used freewebs. But if it is like angelfire.com, after you have unzipped your template download then upload the index.html and style.css files to the web host's directory. Then just edit the HTML of the index page to personalize it.

You upload the index.html file, the style.css file, and the images folder. After your personalize them of course.

I have my counterstrike2.zip file. When I open it, I have an images file, a counterstrike2 PS image, an index internet thing, and a style notepad with something on it. I'm totally lost and new to this program. This is the 1st time I've done a custom template, and I really want the Counter-Strike one to spice up my website. Please help, I'm not good @ this kind of thing. I don't know how to unzip or upload, I just want an HTML to place on my website to look good without deleting what I already have on there. My website is www.freewebs.com/SplinterCellCS/index.htm/ . Please help me!!! I love your templates, I only want to use one!

To unzip a file, either download WinRAR or WinZip...

    You look very new :)
    Ok follow these steps:

after you download the file.zip right click on it and choose extract, the new folder will be created in your desktop if the .zip filr in your desktop :)

Click on the file: PSD (you should have photoshop or fireworks to edit it )
make whatever change you want, do not change the slicing if you want to only change texyt and images.

to change the image just click on it holding ctrl and you will see it highlited in the layer palette, delete it and open your image and ctr+A to select it and go to the psd and CTL+V then move it to the right place.

    For text same procedure.
afetr you finish changing, go to file - save for web - windows will appear with the template enhance the colours and save it : wait choose save HTML and images and choose to save it in images folder at the same folder you unzipped early.
then go dreamweaver and open the HTML called index (may be with different name), change the text and canter it.
try the above and let me know :)

Ahh I feel bad now lol I already chose a different way to get a template for my website. Sorry x(. I really liked the Counter-Strike template's Team Roster on the side so I just created a Team Roster page on my website. Thanks for helping, but I made that post long ago, not needed anymore x(. My website is www.SCCS.co.nr if you want to see the template I used.
