I just updated the web page "http://freetutorials.name/Reference1/Algebra tutorials 1.html" and it has links to advertisements I did not incorporate. The first one (in information) is "online math class".
I don't know how I obtained them or how to remove them. I will be checking viruses and adware, but if someone knows anything about them, I would appreciate the help.

It appears to be "online customer information" that targets keywords. Still checking How to Remove.

Did you get this figured out? I went to the page, but I don't see anything.

I don't see any "online math class" advertisements either. Let us know, Falcon!

Your website may have been infected with malware if you see any links on your website you didn't add yourself.
Can you tell us with the exact link is because I count 139 external links on that single page which makes it hard to find.

I don't think it's his website after Ruthe's post. It may be his browser, he may have an extension, add-on or something else causing him to see the ad.

Rmorale might be right it's more likely to be malware on your own computer.

I used SuperAntiSpyware and it removed "Adware.ultaplug/varient. But that did not remove all of them.
"Shoppstop.com/online math classes" is the one highlighted in blue (link) in information. If you do not see it,
you may be right (it only shows up on my computer)

(I get a lot because of checking on free software)

One of the ads had an unsubscribe so I did. It was removed but now I have twice as many. Better to use software to remove them.

Have you tried Malwarebytes? It's free and will catch a lot. What are you using Mozilla, Chrome... ?

I am using Mozilla "firefox" and will try Malwarebytes. I have used it previously with some luck on other viruses.
I am also going to try some free popup blockers. This is a good time to check "free malware removers, also registry editors (but they need to know what you are removing) so I am trying to get the name of all of them and the software that is sending them.

I think this will take a while

Don't forget to check (about:config) in Mozilla after you run all the removers?

The first unwanted link is "Information: ...free online math classes ... (it has a green circle with a green arrow at position 2 oclock after classes. It is "Shoppstop.com/online math classes.
The last one on the page is "Math Master ... the most extensive math help ... (it also has the green circle with the arrow) It is "www.SmarterSchooling.com". If you don't see these, then it only infects my computer.

    Hey Falcon,

This is how your page looks like to me; I don't see the green circle and green arrow.

Shoppstop.com is the problem, it's also associated with search.us. You may know that already, but just in case you didn't.
If you use IE to log in to your webpage do you still get the "unwanted links", or is it just when logging in with Firefox? There are a lot of sites with instructions on how to remove, but be careful downloading removers the sites claim to have.

Are you comfortable working in regedit?

Ruthe, You are correct ! It only shows up on my computer. Thank You
rmorale, yes, I have used it previously. But first, I need to know what to remove as it will remove anything you tell it to.
Also, most windows register editors need some care for the same reason, and some give you unwanted presents, not the type wanted.

shoppstop.com is a known virus. I'd start there in regedit and also search for (search.us) and remove both. It shouldn't be in you registry to begin with so removing it from regedit shouldn't be a problem, unless you have an addon or extension that uses it for some purpose. Shoppstop.com may still not be the problem, but you need to start somewhere and it may disguising the real problem.

You can also try netstat in command prompt.

I am in the process of checking and getting names of all malware on my computer and checking free programs that will remove them. I just finished using : IO Bit Advanced System Care 6 - Needed to use system restore after using it. Also the old system picked up my old problem "Snapdo". It did remove "Shoppstop.com".
Because of the checking on and for good free programs, I get a lot of experience of removing several free guests. This I eventually will put up a free tutorial and step by step procedure for different malware guests (for both IE and Firefox - including different versions). Lots of fun and frustration.

CCleaner – By far, one of the most popular system maintenance and PC tune-up utilities out
there. It’s mostly known for cleaning up your hard drive of useless temporary files,
browsing history, etc, but it also has a registry cleaner that has never given me a simple
    problem.

I used CCleaner (Crap Cleaner - original name ) and both snapdo and shoppstop are gone. The only change I made was in startup, I deselected "install Google Chrome". It seems to run OK. There are several recommendations for CCleaner.
I tried it and it worked for me.
