General Am I missing something simple?

    A request to knowledgeable mystics of the forum

    I have been trying for the last several days to install the theme "Hair Salon Template" but on every attempt it has said that Theme install failed. Try as I might and have tried several different downloads I get the same results.

    Can someone please point me in the direction of where I can download a working copy or if you have a working copy? Or if maybe you know why this is happening and you can advise me how to put this right.

    it's not a Theme - it's a html/css Template
    What software are trying to install it into?
    What exactly are you trying to do?

    it's not a Theme - it's a html/css Template
    When I did a search for a hair salon theme this came up?
    What software are trying to install it into?
    Wordpress
    What exactly are you trying to do?
    Build a Hair Salon blog and I liked the look of this theme (sorry template)

    A couple of questions?
    Can it be converted?
    Can the images be used outside of the template?

    Answer - Yes

    Wordpress is a whole different animal with it's own set of standards. It's the way it is designed. Just Google - how to make a wordpress theme
    Sit down in a quite room and start learning.
    It's not hard, just a bit of a learning curve the first day, after that you be able to really understand and use Wordpress to it's fullest.
