    Hello,

I was wondering if somone knows a CMS like joomla, drupal, wodpress, MadeSimple, silverlight etc. where you can create your own templates easy with a bit php (or no php) and a good html knowledge? Because whenever I see those joomla or wordpress templates it looks hard to make my own with photoshop and dreamweaver.

    Thank you very much,
    Necerius.

BTW, it doesn't have to be an advanced cms, I only want to login and edit text , add image etc.

You can look at just about all of them and compare options at CMS Matrix.

Joomla is the best cms i have come across (php based and very customizable). online shopping, blogs, forums you name it. This has hundreds of components to choose from.

Agree with the Joomla recomendation. Templates are fairly easy to get a basic one done on your own as well.

Just stay up to date on the updates. Due to the popularity of it Joomla gets allot of attention from hackers and such

    Try Concrete5!

In my opinion, bloated content management systems like Joomla or Drupal are terrible for the end-user experience and not very developer friendly. Concrete5 is a new powerful CMS that is easy for developers and even easier for end-users. Creating your theme is very easy and there are a bunch of tutorials to help you out. It works on a in-context editing model so you make changes as you're browsing your site. It's also very easy to extend with add-ons and themes. concrete5 - Free CMS | Open Source Content Management System
