    Hello

I am currently building my site using dreamweaver and so far so good, (ish). The reason I am tryin to do it myself is I want to learn so that all chnages to the site e.g. news, picutres, new shop items I can add myself.

However the hosting space I have has been set up with word press and I dont get how to work it, or at least it doesnt allow me to create the site I am currently making the way I want it.

I am now sort of stuck as I don't know how I will be able to get it to wordpress. Therefore is it possible to get my design(if sent to someone) made into a template which I can then work from on word press or can I somehow (and not to difficult, im new to this) make it suitable to use one wordpress.

Any help from anyone would be amazing. To see the sorta thing I like-in case anyone has another solution- my current site (my free one, currently working on the .com/.co.uk) loveasifind.webs.com

Looking forward to getting some help!!

    Sam

If you need a cart and a blog at the same time, then maybe some shopping cart software is better. I use osCommerce for sites because of the many plugins that are available. Of course there are many others. One site to check them out is sourceforge.net

With dynamic web systems/engines, packages like DW aren't suitable for setting up the web pages as the system framework uses custom methods for the template and logic. Or they could be mixed. So you should use a text editor to change code and HTML, test them on a local server and finally upload files to the live site.
