    2) Description of your website:
a furniture company expecialized in building chairs

    3) List 3 logo designs you really like & why:
    no idea
    4) Requested size of your logo:
    (various resolutions)

    5) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)
Sample chairs of the catalog... i´ll post some above

The company name is "Ca_dei_ras Lu_is He_nri_que" (ignore the underscores, it´s just for the searches don´t end up here) and it should be embembd in the logo

    Hiya pretty boy!
Long time, no see you posting. :p

Hope you're not in a great rush for this. You might be 'getting lazy' but I'm getting older and slower!

By the way, while you've been away we've had some new members join us who are mighty clever at graphic designing.
And then there's Dave of course, not new but his photoshopping skills are fast becoming first-class!

(if anyone else wants to take a crack at this request, go for it!)

    Cheers buddy
    CP

Nice to know the forum is developing in a good way...

I´m always in a great rush for a change... lol, but regarding what you said you are not getting older, you are getting more mature... And you are not getting slower, you are working with more perfection :D

btw, i took a look at these new "graphic masters" and they are brilliant... Nice work being done here..

You sure don't give much to work with.
How much are you getting for making this site?

    For the website i´m getting: 0$ :(

But i´ll have a percentage (1.5%) of the orders made via website... So if the website doesn´t rentabilizes i won´t win nothing with the job :S

I'll say it again "You sure don't give much to work with."
here's my 2 cents worth of ideas. I pictured an old, sun crusted Portuguese man working in his back shop, trying to teach the young people the craft. Behind the shop a factory. Smart old man.

Thank you for you contribute iskey... I like your imagination.. lol
The company is a bit diferent from your thoughts although. The company owner is a young guy (35yo) hard worker but anti technology... He´s my chairs suplier, because i herited my father furniture busines... I tried to sell him a website, because he has spanish, french and other european clients, but he´s a bit old fashioned and doesn´t believe that the internet is a powerfull selling tool, for him internet is just for sending and receiveing funny e-mails from your friends... So i proposed him that agreement, a free website in exchange of a profitt percentage...

IMHO I think Dave has come up with 2 great designs.
I prefer the simplicity of the first one.

In this one I tried to keep it all woody, warm and comfy type colours, the panel on the left could hold more chair pics.

Glad I checked the wording, I didn't know "cadeiras" meant chairs. I thought it was part of his name.
    (learned something new today.) :p

"hard worker but anti technology" "he´s a bit old fashioned and doesn´t believe that the internet is a powerfull selling tool, for him internet is just for sending and receiveing funny e-mails from your friends"

That describes my mother - she's 82, Luis would get along with her just fine.

If it helps show him the two sites I'm involved in that I list here, they belong to a 70 yr old gentleman whom at first said the same thing. Those two sites pay all my monthly bills from the percentages I receive. He is very happy with what he earns from them. As he said "I don't understand why it works so well or why I didn't do this earlier."

Nice job CP - Now thats a Logo you could build a site around. It adds elegance, while maintaining the simplistic lines of the chairs. The earthy colors anchor it down. Pleasing to the eye.
I would have the panels on the left, individually, slowly fading into chairs.
t3-web you better jump on that one.
I know you are a Flash guy read this it will help advertise the site https://freewebsitetemplates.com/forum/f41/google-analytics-tracking-adobe-flash-11634/
and keep the loading time down.
