General change website

    Our friend got us a website for out wedding gift, but we don't know where to start to change it. We now want to put our wedding pics on it...so how do we start? There is a family template on there already that we like, so how do we add our person stuff?

    First I would read https://freewebsitetemplates.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5694 It will give you an idea about how templates are.
    You will need to have access to the server so you can download all the files related to what is there. You will then have to edit those files to reflect the changes. Then re upload them to the server. As far as displaying your wed pics there are countless galleries out there to help you dispay them. A little Google goes a long way and look around the forum for more answers.

    Unless you have some web design experience, it's impossible for someone to explain every step you must take to accomplish this in one simple comment section.

    If you don't know much about web design and you have a little money, I'd simply pay someone to get your pics online and set up the way you like.

    Otherwise, familiarize yourself with some basic HTML code and learn what FTP is and how to use it. That would be a starting point.
