I am a total newb. I would like to use NVU to edit a template. I was able to "download?" the template to my desktop. I have NVU installed. I do not know how to open the template in NVU to begin editing. Thank you, I really appreciate any help.:)

Thank you for answering. I have tried two ways to edit the template. When I click on the template on my desktop it gives me a choice of programs to open it in, but when I click on nvu, I am just sent to the nvu program. When I open the nvu program and click on the link that you specified, it opens the written portion of the website, but I am unable to view the background and photos to edit them. I am not certain what I need to do differently to be able to see and edit the entire template. Thank you.

Well, what mode you want to edit in is called the "WYSIWYG". Im not sure how in NVU how to switch modes, but their is most likley a button in the top toolbar that will say WYSIWYG or somthing about changing modes
