Hi all, 1st off, what a great site,

I Have what is hopefully, a small request.

I am in desprete need of a site logo for my site, www.gaming-unlocked.com

Its a playstation 3 archive for file uploads,

Im not that imaginative when it comes to site logo's so not realy that shure what would look gd

If someone could make me a site logo perhaps with a gaming theme, i would be most happy :)

The logo should be, if possible

have a width of 1020 pixles and a height of 200 pixles

the height though, feel free to change to what ever looks good :)

The main bg colour of the site is #111111

Thanx for your help, i realy appreciate it :)

    any questions just ask,

I did see one, just trying to find it again.

I want it to have a bit of colour, yet still go with the site style.

Possible modern looking aswell, with perhaps with soldiers comming in from the left, like at http://www.ps3multiplayer.com/forum/

What would be good as if it had loads of PS3 game images covering the entire banner, then with the text above it, with a snazzy look saying Gaming Unlocked

perhaps with the ps3 font witch can be downloaded at http://www.dafont.com/spiderman.font

Just use your iagination lol, cause i barley have one :)

Ok, I may not be to imaginative either... but here goes a small idea...

So, your site is Gaming-Unlocked, and it's for playstation 3...

You don't really need a banner to cover the entire size of the header, as you can perhaps use the right portion of the header to display advertisements from either google, or your own hosting provider incase they have an affiliate area where you can make a little cash for people signing up under your referral...

But anyway, for the logo itself...

What if you got a partial image of the playstation 3, with the actual name on it and viewable on the logo... blend that into the image on the right side which would fade to your background color to the right... to the left of the playstation system, you would have your website name, with perhaps a unlocked lock behind it with the actual arm of the lock over the text...

I'm not that good at photoshop yet, but that's what i first had pictured in my head for a nice logo...

Yea sounds good, but the website wont ever have any advertisments on it, just do what you think is best, and ill be satisfied

ok chears, but by the way, i think a banner for the site would be best, since ill need it for use on the forums as well.

ok so... this is what i did...

i made the full logo just the size you wanted... nothing special though...

I saved it as a .png file, entire image...

and I also saved it as a sliced image with the /images folder and the .html file included...

your choice which one to use, but you would be better off using the sliced image as it will load faster for people with slow connections...

click the thumbnail to see the full size image...

    [IMG][IMG]

Edit: I just added the .psd file to the attachments incase you want to move things around or something... also, i added a 1 pixel black stroke border around the image for a final touch... The slices are all promoted to user slices, so you can add links to each image which will go to homepage...

If you don't know how to add the stroke, just merge all layers (Ctrl + Shift + E) and then Select All, Edit > Stroke, 1px #000000 Normal Inside 100%

    Looks good, chears

By the way im not much of a php programer, but i am a vb programer ( software )

i once made a very succefull runescape client getting about 15,000 users

however i no longer decided to play runescape and in the end the software died out.

i have always fort about giving another go at making a client for runescape, perhaps i could make you one for your rs site.

if this is something your intrested in then add me on msn paul_so40@hotmail.com
