General Using the update section without editing the index file?

I'm using the
Online Gaming Website Templates
template and I was wondering how to use the update section without editing the source file. I'm trying my best to explain this. I'm talking about the area where it says Fear Update and then This is a template designed by free website templates for you for free you can replace all the text by your own text. This is just a place holder so you can see how the site would look like. and all that hoopla. Can someone please help?

 

For that you need to have a dynamic method to update the content on your server. The template is a sample only. Typically content management systems or e-commerce packages or forum s/w offer the capability to integrate the template. Then they offer an administration tool to create or update the content that displays on the various areas of the template. Lots of these programs are free to use and open source. The difficult part is you need to do/learn programming and learn about these dynamic methods each program is different. And lots of them have a stiff learning curve.

So if its just one or two pages you can simply edit the content without getting through the complexity of learning another package. If you need it for a forum however you will have to find one that at least is easy to setup templates.
