Web Design Should I Edit the .PSD or the Image files?

    Hello,

I'm new to this site. I've been reading through the forums and have played around with the photoshop files.

Do you recommend that I Edit the .PSD, then slice it in Image Ready and save the slices as the respective names the files already have?

Or should I be editing each image file separately?

OR is it even necessary to do more than change the .PSD file?

    Thanks.

I suppose you could do it both ways but as for myself, being the lazy type, I'd just edit the supplied file only.
Gotta remember though, unlike psd files, jpgs (if that's what you're editing) lose clarity each time they're saved. So best to get it right first time.

Hope this is of some help.
