Meh, this request is officially the one with the most replies on this site. Not sure if im too proud of that.

Anyway, is forest here? Got a question for him.
How did you apply the super duper cool reflection in this logo here:

Tutorial link? Or is it so simple you can explain it?

Longest thread, and you still not posted up your new avatar????:eek:

Here's a video on how to do reflections, just at the end all you need to do is use edit/transform/perspective to get the angles etc

Added a reflection to my avatar version. Which do you guys thinks look better?

Avatar with reflection or without reflection?

As the reflection doesn't show up too well at an avatar size, I'd say without. It looked better centred anyway.

Haha, i wasn't expecting that coming from the member who also has a reflection in her the avatar. :p (ironic?)

But yeah i see your point, i visited the forums with my smartphone earlier today and i couldn't see the reflection at all, so im returning to the old way.

E the only way the reflection would show (like CP's) is to have a lighter background and the spread is not as much as you have it now.....

    Forest is right..

It would only work if you have a lighter background and don't use the perspective tool it just look too common.

If you're going to use a reflection then just duplicate the layer, flip it vertically and then with a soft brush rub out 3 quarters of the image or just leave it as is and lessen the opacity.
