Graphics Need Logo Help

    I have a logo that I need re-sized from 7017 x 168 px to 900 x 225 px.
    Every time I try to make this change, its parameters get all out of whack and it looks terrible!
    Can you please help?

    It's not as simple as just resizing to suit. (which I'm guessing is what you've tried)
    You'll need to redo each element separately to get this header to the 900 x 225 px dimensions. (as in the 2nd pic)

    I cut each section on to it's own layer:
    1. Speedo
    2.Maddison text.
    3. Red 'swoosh'
    4. Service text.
    Then resized each section to fit into the new 900x225 dimension. As you can see, the speed dial stayed round but the text is slightly distorted.

    Do you have the original layered file and fonts used?
    If you do, zip them up and post again.

    By the way, we only allow a maximum of 700px wide graphic to be posted on the forum.

    Thank you very much -- sorry about the over-sized image upload...
    I have Photoshop Elements 4, and Fireworks CS4, but I am not privy to all of the controls and layers, etc. No clue how to cut each section on to its own layer... :-( There's a lot to learn!
    If you have any advise, suggestions, or resources I would sincerely appreciate it.

    If you want, I can re-do the whole thing again in the appropriate size for you. Although I may not have the exact same fonts used.

    Actually, I simply used the one that you posted in your response. I tweaked it a little bit to get the width of 900px, and although it wasn't as tall as I would have liked, it serves its purpose and looks pretty nice :) Maddison Automotive

    Q: Do you know where I could obtain some flash designs, such as lightening bolts?
