Legacy Logo wanted for Photography

As it turns out the template provided by WIX can only be used at their site. It cannot be downloaded and copied over to your site at aephotography.org.uk.

Why don’t we use the template that I have selected and see if we can modify it to way you like it. I added an image using one of your photos for the background. Let me know if this will do.

Tom that's great, I would prefer it if the blue border areas were black but I'm not gonna moan too much about that considering how much effort you've put in. Many thanks for that Tom. What's the next step?

 

Good. Now that we got the template you want the next step is simply for you to take over the site. First thing you should do is to change the password. As you can see the current password is plainly seen but so far no one has messing with it; the community here respect each other’s works but you should not expect that to continue as there might be strangers dropping by with not good intention.

Next thing you should do is update the menu items. I set up couple of them just for presentation purpose. Replace them if you want. You can remove them or add more too. Make sure the pages are defined correctly or they won’t show up right. Go to this site and see if the info there helps.

I am PM you hosting cPanel login info so that you can have total access to your site. Learn more about this when you log into your account. Note that this is not the same as your website cPanel.

Lastly, you should learn HTML and CSS. This will help you make changes such as the border color you have in mind. I can do that for you but you should do this on your own. When you have the time, you should also learn about graphic; it will help in template modification. Good luck but do post your questions here if you got stuck.

Wow, i've just seen the site on the big screen of my laptop and not the iPhone. I love it, just what i wanted, thanks again tom. But...... flipping eck!! I really have got some learning to do, LOL. I changed the password and then looked at tother things that need changing and it's all gobble de gook!!! Looks like i gotta new language to learn!!

 

Just to remember that Rome was not build in a day so be patient. But it did fall in a day though, that was from a movie I saw, so be careful
