Graphics [logo request]

    Hello everybody.
    Here is my request.

    1)     What is your website address? http://www.stuck-throttle.com
    2) Description of your website: motorsports video production

    4) Requested size of your logo: Vector file preferred to be able to resize.
    5) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo ( only copyright free ones )? none
    6) Any colors you prefer? prefer to have only 2 or 3, no preference on each.

    I like your sample choices.
    It would be a help if there was some colour theme to work with from your site.

    Apart from that, you want just the words "stuck-throttle" in the header logo or that "com" bit on the end as well?

    Your current 'header' image seems to be about 600 x 274pxls
    (hard to tell with that disable right click thingy)
    You may want a vector type image that you can resize yourself but you still need to be able to keep the proportions restrained.

    So I'll wait for your answers before I start on it.

    Hello Sir,

    I enjoy the color combinations of Black, Red, and Yellow
    or Black, Blue, and Yellow.

    the .com is not necessary but if "films" could be added similar to this: http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/Hj883MJw5GXkxq43adYNWw?feat=directlink
    (i made that and I don't like it one bit, heh) that would be nice.

    While on that sample, the proportions of it are also appropriate for what I am looking for.

    Here is the header pic if you need it cp:) (she is a Madam as in formal correspondence) and ST your site would look beter if you were to adjust the padding in the #content section of the default.css file Right now it is set to padding: 2px 0px 0px 0px; I would try padding: 10px 5px 5px 5px; to start with. That way things wouldn't jammed up net to the borders. All that right click stuff, it just never works the way people think it does. hacking with integrity;)

    Good to see you're getting into it Dave!

    You've done a great job of removing the background (or is that a layer blend?)
    I had the idea that Mr. stuck-throttle wasn't keeping that particular site layout, that's why I wasn't too fussed about the present size. Thanks for the zip though.

    My sincerest apologies to Madam CovertPea :) .
    Mr. Ishkey, I will edit my stylesheet per your recommendation.
    I am very grateful of both your time invested in my project. Now if you'll please accept my comments as merely an opinion based on my initial impression of your first attempt to create this logo for me; I really like the font used as well as the color combination. I also liked the background speed blur. CovertPea was correct in her assumption that the current layout would not remain. As a matter of fact, I intend to redo the entire site once a logo is finalized. Having said that, if the entire "stuck-throttle" could remain on the same line, I believe it would be a bit more appealing to me. Also, I really like the filmstrip, having used myself in a couple of layouts of my own. But I simply am not liking it here. I'm not sure why, but I think it reminds me of wedding photographer logos I've previously seen.
    I hope you don't take offense to my input as I am extremely grateful of what you guys and gals are doing here.

    To CP - layer blend. No I pass on the graphics. How about you getting into the coding side?
    Never any offence taken. Keep us posted as to how the site is going.
