GG, I'd rather handle this in the forum. Not sure why we're using PM. Anyway, how much do you usually charge? I can't afford much. But I was also under the impression that this website was free. I really do love the logo though.

 

Yes it is however, just like you I need to earn too so I asked you for the donation and you agreed (your not the only one to do this so don't worry)

"For that" ?? what do you mean by that? If you don't feel it's worthy enough to pay for then don't I can always sell it off as I have the rights to it.

For me that logo did take some time to create and that is my original price as businesses can set up their own business using their money so can't see why they can't pay for a logo.

From where you live I don't know whether that is cheap or expensive however, I too need to earn a living and for me (and where I live) that is cheap for the amount of time and effort it took me to create that.

 

What I mean by that is that I just can't afford it. It is good, but I was thinking 10, maybe 20 dollars, not over a hundred. I'm a college student, and without the logo, I'll still have my camera and photos. Thats all I really need. The reason I came to this website for it is because it says request a FREE logo. Not, request a logo, and once its made have it held for ransom because you won't "donate". I do understand you need to mkae a living, but working for a website that advertises its self as free doesn't make much sense to me...

I really am sorry. The logo is great. I just can't do it.

 

And also, I'm not sure how you'd sell it off. Not sure why anyone would want to buy a logo with my name on it... lol

Wow 10-20 dollars is just too low.

How much did your equipment cost you? Must have been some kind of sum as for being a photographer you probably have backups of each incase anything goes wrong.

It doesn't actually say that. Look back at the forum index it actually says:

"Request a Logo customization - Need to edit the logo but don't have photoshop to edit it. Post here and we will edit it for free."

So as recidivist said it doesn't actually say that anywhere. Yes we for some reason done it however, for the time and effort I don't think it's worth for free. You try giving out your photoshoots for free for a year. You just wouldn't do it because you need to earn which is the reason for me.

I'm not exactly working here too. It's voluntary. And yes you're right the site does advertise itself as free but for FREE WEBSITE TEMPLATES.

Of course no one would, but I didn't say i'll keep your name on it.

Sorry but $10-$20 is just a ridiculous/impossible price to accept. Let me know when you want this thread closed.
