Legacy Logo for photogrpahy business

Alright, so I think by itself it looks awesome with the purple. However, when I placed it onto photos, the purple didn't seem too great. So I just made the entire logo white, and it seemed to work better with the photos. I've attached the jpgs. You can probably just use either, depending on the photo and what works best....

 

And here is your logo!

1. Everything in purple as a jpg (white background)
2. Everything in purple as a tif (transparent background)
3. Everything in white as a tif (transparent background)

OK, I am having issues getting the files into photoshop? I have Cs5...any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much. I would like to save the logos in photoshop so they are available to use all the time....if someone can help me. Thanks a lot.

 

Cynthia- ok I figured it out, but the only one I can't get to show up is the white one? The only thing that shows up is the Photography part. The other two work? When I am putting them in it comes up with message The document draft has embedded color profile that doesn't match the current CMYK working space. Then says what would you like to do....that happened on both the tif files. Would it be better to send them in a different format? Thanks a lot.

 

Yeah, I have CS5 as well. You should be able to just open the tif files with photoshop? Let me know if you want the .psd file though. I'll save it without layers though so that it's a smaller file for you

Alright, I went ahead and just added another layer that is just a solid color...Just hide that layer or delete it, and see if you can get the white logo part.

Hope this works, and sorry I didn't get the chance yesterday; I had a crazy day! I'm a project manager for a consulting organization here on campus, and my team had quite a few questions for me, so I was tied up with that...and then when I got off work, I had to hurry and get to a business dinner that lasted until 9:30...and then homework...and I actually fell asleep while typing my essay thank god my friends woke me up at 1am...

 

You are wonderful....no rush at all. I really appreciate it. I checked out the logo you created for Magical Solutions...I really like the butterfly!! Do you think the logo would work in white as just a jpg. file? Any chance you can add a butterfly to my logo and see how it looks as well..if you can, if not don't worry about it. I appreciate all your time and effort. Where are you going to school? I live in IL, Springfield area....Chatham, IL!!!

 

Haha, I noticed that post and took the liberty of adding a butterfly as well as a trail...here it is!

I'm at the College of Business here at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign...about 1.5 hours east of Springfield, I believe.

..i kinda like it with the butterfly more than with the four leaf clover....but let me know because i know you wanted a four leaf clover/something to do with the number four.... i can try putting the number four somewhere if you want?
