I am new to this forum but think it is an awesome idea.

I need a logo for my new company/website. I made something very simple but it just doesn't cut it.

I leave complete artistic freedom to whoever decides to help.

    Here is the url:

    http://www.drivermotorsports.com/

I will look around on this forum to try and help others if I can in some way.

You'll need to supply more info before we can put a logo together for you.
To get the ball rolling, please read the 'sticky' HERE .
Also, thanks for giving a hand around the forum.

    Cheers

    1) What is the exact name you would like in your logo?

    Driver Motorsports
    Driver Motorsports.com

    2) What is your website address (ex: http:/site .com/; Site Name)?

    www.drivermotorsports.com

    3) Description of your website or business:

    Retail automotive parts sales

    4) Search the Internet for any logos/designs on the web that you feel convey the style you are looking for?

I like the white and red on a black background. I like the more simple and clean look. I am a big fan of the House Power Junkies logo. I like the line above and below with the website URL smaller below it.

    5) Requested size of your logo:

I need a header for my website: www.drivermotorsports.com
    The header is 984 x 160

    and looks like this now:

If you look at my site you see that the links are in the top right and the "Search" is just under where my cheesey logo is now. If you can just make something fit into and fill this space more maybe 120 x 700 for the actual logo size. I can make fit.

I would also need a hi res for decals and T-shirts.

    6) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)

I will try and work on this but I am no artist.

    7) What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?

As close to the logos I posted or linked to.

    8) What colors do you want to see in your logo?
Red, white and black. Black background.

    10) Describe the target audience for your logo

    Motor heads, male age 16-60

    11) What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?

    Strong, modern, clean.

    12) Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?

    Website and Print

    14) Finally we need is there a style font you prefer, please let us know.
For font types you can look here daFont or one of the many Font Websites available.

    I'm thinking

"DRIVER" in a larger COALITION font (maybe not with the grainy look) with "Motorsports" in a smaller PIRULEN font underneath. Text in white with thin red lines above and below.

Here are a couple of ideas that I came up with.
I just placed the logo over yours and reduced it down to fit the forum.
If you like ether one let me know and I'll post it up for you to download.
Let me know what file format you want them in and if you want just the logo or the logo with the banner part.

Sure no problem, except the font I used is Arial and looks choppy as an outline only.
Tell me what font you want to use.
