Web Design Login Panel problem and button lighting up problem

Hey People,
I downloaded a template called musicstore.
Originally, you can type in the Log in bar and when you go over the ' Listen' or 'Add' buttons, the buttons lighten up.
Now i've edited the website, and this is what i did:

I took the .psd to photoshop, edited it and saved it as a .jpg
Opened up dreamweaver and inserted the .jpg image.
I then image mapped the image, adding link to it.
But when i published it and viewed it, the original lighting up and the writing in the login bar wasnt working.

I have uploaded the musicstore.jpg so it is easier to understand,.

I had a feeling it was something to do with the style.css that came with the musicstore template, but i dont know how to apply that to my website.

Please help, as this website is needed to be completed in 2 days..
