    Back from a meeting about the logo. The design has a lot of good returns, but someone brought the panther back in picture.

    I've uploaded a few panther pics that he suggested we place in the top half.

    Is this possible to integrate in the frame...

    This one, it would seem obvious to replace the logo by the one you've designed (latest version).

    The last request from my staff is that we have a banner below the logo with : " Section Féminine " written on it.

    Sorry for all these modifications, but we're closing in on the final cut.

    It's still soccer, male or female players don't come into it.
    Personally, as a female myself, I wouldn't want to see such a sissy pic on my crest.
    Some would consider that a tad sexist even. :D

    I'm pretty sure the images you've posted above are all copyright or belong to some other team.
    This is a constant problem I come across with making crests for members. I spend hours searching online and through my own personal clip art collections looking for usable, copyright free images.
    But I just can't find a half-decent panther image! :eek:
    If your club wants to buy one from shutterstock, fotolia or any of the many other online clip art sites, I'll happily add it to your crest.
    Let me know where you want to go to from here.

    For the first image, I believe it's been used by several hundred of sites, so I believe there is no copyright on it, but I'll look into it. The second is issued by a team but I know for a fact that it's used by other teams (is there a way of changing the design of the picture to obtain a new figure. As for the third, it's the design I find interesting, but of coarse there probably is a copyright on that one.

    Could it be possible to have the banner included in the meantime ?

    As for the binorman's comments, I totally agree with CP, it's a totally sexist remark.

    could we include the ribbon with " Section Féminine " written on the latest version of the logo ?

    As for a Panther pic, I'm still looking for a good pic... If you've got any ideas, they are welcome.

    FYI - It is a copyright logo. All college school team logos are copyrighted.

    My answer would be, your art budget ran out a long time ago.
    I think CovertPea has gone beyond the extra mile, after all she created three logos.
    Maybe the committee should be grateful for all that she did and pick one.

    Then again I'm not CP nor do I have her patience.

    Ishkey, no offense, but having proposed the 3 logos, none have had full approval from the committee and I can't force it on them.

    CP, sorry for all this extra work I'm asking, we're not in any major rush, as this will probably not be installed before the end of this season (may).

    We would like the banner (ribbon) with the "Section Féminine" mentionned, as this is important to the girls and if we can't find a good panther pic, we could use another feline (expl : Leopard, which I believe has just been used in another thread).

    Thanks for all this, our girls will fly this new logo with pride.
