Customization It's a mess :0(

Hi falcon, my daughter is at uni doing psychology, we have some great conversations, though people do tend to watch what they say until they get to know us !
I'll see if I can find 'Lie to me'. Not seen it, though it sounds good. I've done a lot of reasearch into body language and it interesting.

Morning,
I got 3 domain names, though forgot names, passwords and which webhost (?) I used for the other 2 before I did anything with them. As it is, this is the only one I've got and noone finds it via a search. I used adwords and it didnt help and something else similiar which I had to pay for which I soon stopped. I paid for an advert thing on facebook which was a waste of money. I wonder if website looking such a mess made a difference, it was too dear to run it again. I have a massage table as I'm also a reiki master. I wasnt going to use reiki page, but thnk I might for now if it'll attract people.
A map is a good idea, though via skype I can work with people anywhere.
Legally I am qualified and insured with everything on website.
I'll look at google ads to see if I can find anything appropiate to put up. Are links to books etc ok ?

As per your site statistics, you are currently averaging about 30 unique visitors per month and most of your visitors (aside from Direct link) are from Google (see attached).

So as you can see, most of your visitors found the site are via search (Google) so build on that. You did get some visitors from Facebook but I don’t know how much you pay for it. You have to discount those from freewebsitetemplates.com as this probable will stop when this topic is no longer discussed.

You should be able to increase visitors by 10 fold with basic SEO.
Basic SEO is keywords in the title, description and body of the page
Empty keywords are keywords used in the title and/or description and not in the body of the page. Most keywords should be used in the first 100 words of the body (or at least the most important ones). To be effective, keywords should be checked in a keyword tool (I recommend free ones) for popularity. Many times the plural is much higher than the singular (or vice versa).

This is where you start. Remember keyword phrases are more important than keyword. Keyword phrases are two or more keywords that people are likely to use in a search.

Math Calculators

You must track results to be able to improve the response. Save before changing. If it improves keep it. If not return to the old and change differently. Each page should be SEO (Search Engine Optimized) for that page as if was a separate site. As traffic improves you need to use a web page analyzer and improve using it as a guideline.
You need to improve from 30 a month to 30 a week (over 100 per month) then 300 a month. I use Gostats for weekly tracking. As you improve you will learn more how to improve. Remember, use software (free of course) as much as you can so you learn how to use it, then make the decision which software works best for you and your site.

Traffic, Position, Page Rank, Conversions are separate items with some overlap. Position is easiest to track and measure. Traffic is next. Start with those two.

You may finish checking the keywords.
You can see some of the words not to use and some of the words to use.
I don't think words under 100 would be good words. Avoid the words with less than 50. This will give you a start. The program address (keyword discovery) is at the top of the page.

ha, well I obviously had page title wrong. Didnt know what it meant, so made it up. I was wayyy off ! Redone keywords for psychotherapy, corrected all page titles and it's taken me over 2 hrs. It's only 9.30am and I'm tired already :0)

For psychotherapy, I have 32 keyword metatags, of which 11 are in the text on that page. I then have 17 description metatags of which 8 are keywords. Is that any good ?

Remember 66 characters (including spaces) maximum in the title
150 characters (including spaces) in the description
Your most important keywords within the first 50 to 100 words of the body
Your position and traffic should change (improve). Give it about a week.
I keep doing this, a page at a time. Then track the results. Save the before change and after change. If it improves, keep the change. If not, return to the old. Then try different key words and keyword phrases. As you improve your position and traffic be sure and be able to write about it. What software you used, where to get it. The keywords that helped. Why they helped. Why the old words did not help. How you changed the title, description and body to improve. When you write this as an article for ezines with your signature (webpage address) you will get increased traffic (visitors) to check your page. Later we will help with web page marketing (how to turn the visitors into customers). Remember there are more people wanting to learn than know how. You will learn how to "show and tell" to increase your visitors and customers.
