General How does the CMS work on the Architecture template?

I haven't actually downloaded the template yet but I have seen similar templates and I don't understand how the publishing works. If you look at the template you'll see "Latest News" under the navigation bar. Is there some sort of CMS at work here or do you just manually edit/replace articles and posts here?

Those are just place holders so they are non-functional. To make it work with a CMS you need to convert it into theme for that particular CMS. The process might be quite involved but you could just manually update that section as you have already noted.

Download it and play with it. You might find it very easy to construct a site with the look you have in mind.
