Hi there, I was wonderdering if someone could help us in creating a free logo for our internet radio site.
We are revamping this site and have a bare bones budget.
We would like something snazy & simple... This might be a good starting point
Vintage Broadcaster Microphone | Royalty Free Stock Vector Art Illustration | iStockphoto.com
but feel free to be creative. our site is called WDGA Radio.com

Besides using on site we would like to use the logo on business cards, sell logo gear thru Cafe Press, etc.
Meaning the resulting file need to work well on a coffee mug as well as the back of a motocycle jacket.
please use illustrator file, transparent background, png file format

    Thanks in advance.
    :) George

Don't just jump right in to request something...read the sticky posts first.

Answer these questions to make it easier for us to help you out:

    1) What is your website address (ex: http://site.com ; Site Name)?
    2) Description of your website:
    3) List 3 logo designs you really like & why:
    4) Requested size of your logo:
    5) Do you have any images/photos/clipart that can be used for the logo? (these must be copyright free)
    6) Any colors you prefer?

And also whilst your waiting, go around the forum and see if there's anyone out there that could use your help :)

    Thanks

    Hey Genuine,
sorry for delay in getting back to you...been fighting the flu .
    nice graphics !
We'd rather see the letters together in all caps alongside a mark of some sort...either with Radio beside or under.
Hope your open to taking another look at our logo.
    cheers,
    George

    Hey Genuine, we're getting there...
like the top one in terms of font and word layout.
not wild about the paintball splatter in blue.
Wonder if you could take the I in Radio and put a
microphone in it's place? Font is a nice choice.
    Big Thanks,
    George

I think you should bring the R A D O down in-line with the mic stem and tighten them up, less space in-between letters.
Other than that I think it looks great! "Spot On" as you English Chaps Say.

What do you think George - is he zeroing in on it?

What the heck is Spot On anyway?????

In other words it means perfect..and here's the image..you meant something like this?

    Too Low
The blue was in the perfect place.
I meant only the Black RAD O Place it above the Mic base and below the bottom of the Mic so the Support Stick looks like the I.

Spot On is Perfect - I yet to Achieve the level of Bliss, but then again once I thought I was wrong, but I wrong.
