Welcome back Falcon. You are one lucky guy; a new computer from your son! My son too gave me a computer. Instead of buying one and giving to me, he said go buy one and take the money from his account and I did. When time to pay for it the mother said “don’t you dare!” My old computer was running on Windows 95. My new system is also win 7. You don’t have to learn how to use the new system. It just takes over. Just like Google finished typing for me before I’m done.

Still need to learn. In xp I could get source code to check someones webpage. How do you get it on win 7. Also Yahoo had most visited and I could click on it. Where is it in win 7 ? And the list goes on. It is a lot faster. Old system (750 m) new system 3.1 G. Need to be able to check web pages so I can advise.

This source code thing in your xp, are they programming applications? If you post the names perhaps members here with win 7 can tell you how.
My first system was a Timex Sinclair. The 32 characters screen was just too limited so I saved up enough money and bought an Apple (4k) for $999. Yes it was under a thousand but I soon upgraded it with 16k for $199 so that I could run more advanced applications. Later I bought a floppy drive for $600 so that I don’t have to use the cassette player. The first box of 10 floppy disks cost me $50; and they were single sided, that meant you were taken a risk of using both sides and you have to punch out a notch to use the other side. They sold tool for that but I just used a hole puncher.

Tom (I saw it when these words “Let there be Light” were first spoken)

The 'analytics' I use are not always the best way, but it works. To be able to record the results in a spread sheet so you can analyze the results (and have the 'analytics' give you the results) and be free is not an easy task. As you learn the abilities of the analytics, you will record more and be able to tell more about your web page. The recording is to track the results of editing (or changes) and to improve the SEO (Search Engine Optimization) for better position in search engines and increased traffic.
Some information you will want for the web page:
    Total traffic
    New Traffic
    Return Traffic
Area (Geographic) where traffic came from
If traffic left immediately (bounce rate)
If traffic looked at another page of your site
    Time on page
Area of page they looked at (Heat Map)
    Which ads they looked at
    What articles they looked at
    - - -
    Which analytics do you use
What do you use to track your analytics
    -
    Thank You
