That is quality man, is there any chance you could encapulate the Southern Cross within the Celtic Cross itself (i.e replacing some of the elements in white)? Also, it would be good to have THE PERTH CELTIC FOOTBALL CLUB EST 2011 worked into it somewhere too.

I really like the simplicity of it though.

 

You are a continual source of brilliance man. Loving it!! I never managed to get to training last night due to work commitments, but I am going to make a couple of phone calls tonight about your design to gauge what the guys think.

 

To make myself a little clearer, I would just be interested to see if you could replace the middle 'horseshoe' with a Southern Cross motif. I actually don't know whether you should put text around it. What do you think?

 

Okay, had a word with the committee about both designs so far and you have managed to split them ...

The only thing they would like to see different with your design is if you can replace the kangaroo with a black swan design. Would you be kind enough to rework it a little bit whilst keeping the border exactly how it is?

COVERTPEA

If you could replace the middle horseshoe with a southern cross with Perth Celtic FC strategically placed somewhere that would be cool.

I just want to re-iterate how grateful I am for all your help. By the way, if anyone else has a cool design I can take to them that would be good too.

Cheers man, that is actually really cool. I think we are going to present all the ideas to the team and put it to a vote on Wednesday or Sunday (depending on when is best).

If you could just take away the border for the Southern Cross and make the stars white on the green backgorund with added text (feel free to put your own spin on things), I think it will be looking grand. Can you get this to me before Wednesday? If not, it is cool.

Both brilliant efforts. I think subtly can sometimes be a good thing. I will present both of those designs and the ones that you other guys have concocted.

I'll report back soon. I know I have said it several times during this process, but I really appreciate all your efforts.

 

Okay, just to keep you all in the loop, the guys in the committee were impressed with all the designs in one way or another, but it has come down to the 1970FOREST football themed design and the COVERTPEA Celtic Cross themed design.

We are going to put them both up on the wall on Sunday after the game and let the lads choose their favourite. COVERTPEA, can I ask one more thing from you? There was a concern that their is no reference that it is a football club. Is there anyway you can have a wee go at putting in the following in smaller text (same colours) with the curvature of the border:

BOTTOM
FOOTBALL CLUB

By the way, just to say MODMAN, a few of the guys liked your 'mighty duck' idea, but we needed to narrow it down to two unfortunately. Extra kudos to you given your allegencies (lol).

 

Looks great!! There was no decision made yesterday as the chairman wasn't there. We will hopefully have a wee bit of a conversation about it again on Wednesday though.
