Flash or no flash?

I don't think that flash is very good for a site, I would recommend more and more content in the site rather than images and animations.

 

I guess in the end it depends wheather you are a professional business, or a like cool free service, or band or something.

 

Cuss a band would most likely use flash. And a buiness would use more perffesional designs

 

I myself dislike flash sites, because bookmarking a certain page is impossible, downloading often takes longer, not all systems support flash or support only older flash version; while HTML 4 is always supported on all browsers.
Most flash sites also are poorly designed with a lot of moving imgaes, which only distract the visitor from the information they're trying to find.

 

Flash does not under any circumstances harm your website for SEO, unless you are using flash to violate search engine guidlines. If you must use Flash make sure you use the text and links from the Flash file in an HTML version. customized stickers

I am new to using .gif and other various animation designs and formats. I have been experimenting with my Gimp 2.6 and i just wanted to show an amateur .gif that i made for a past client.

Love the look and feel of your new site.

I love the look of flash but it seem the files are way to big for good load time and updating pages is a pain I was trying a flash banner and just kind of gave up and stuck with a .png file

 

yep some features are good but not all the website should be in flash...

i recently heard from some experts that now u can optimize ur flash web also, i dont know exctly thats true or not, but they said

 

i recommend do not use flash

this is not like that u can't optimize ur site in flash, it is possible, but it is to much diff to do ..

 

guess its ok, but i must be very short like 5 secs. this is good for viewer to see your artistic side.
