General are these webste templates free to use?

    Hello, I am new just got a few quick questions.

    I am creating a website, and too lazy to start from scratch. I downloaded one of the templates and just wondering if it is free to use?

    Probably will change all the links, some of the pictures, text ect.
    Is there a copy right problem? Do I have to pay to use these templates?
