  1. Dear Friends,

I will be starting a Goat Farm very soon and looking for a farm based logo. I have given my requirements below. Kindly extend your help on this. Many thanks!

    1) What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
Abhis Farm (Tag Line: Premium Goat Meat)

    2) What is your website address (ex: http:/site .com/; Site Name)?
    Not yet created

    3) Description of your website or business:
I am starting a Goat Farm mainly for meat production and sale of parent stock for breeding.

    4) Search the Internet for any logos/designs on the web that you feel convey the style you are looking for?
I have attached a sample one which I have created using Logaster. I want to keep the logo simple with few images highlighting farm theme and goat.

    5) Requested size of your logo:
I need logo as a vector image so that I can scale it to any extent.

    6) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)
No! I dont want to use actual photos. I would like to have farm based logo with a goat image.

    7) What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
    I prefer text and image.

    8) What colors do you want to see in your logo?
    Green & Black.

    9) What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
    Can't think of any...

    10) Describe the target audience for your logo
The target audience would be the people who needs goat meat on contract basis and who are planning to setup new goat farms.

    11) What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
    Quality, Natural & Tasty

    12) Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
It will be used on web sites, business cards, brouchers, big banners, etc...

    13) Do you have other info or links you want to share?
    http://99designs.com/logo-design/store/65026

    14) Finally we need is there a style font you prefer, please let us know.
I like Calligraphy fonts such as Chopin Script, Tangerine, etc...But open to any fonts that will beter suit a traditional farm theme.

    Thanks!

Looks like you have been busy around the site. Always good to see people helping out around here.
Had some time so I took a stab at your request...
    Quality, Natural & Tasty
Brings up visions of an old fashion style, sorta like my nephew's farm. He raises all walks of animals and one just happens to be Goats from which he makes soap, raises breeders, and on occasion sells meat, usually to mid-easterners.
anyway I came up with this, who knows maybe it is along what you had in mind.

  3. Hi Ishkey,

The logo came out really well...Many Thanks for spending your valuable time for me.

I have few suggestions and I hope you won't mind doing it for me.

    1. I prefer either a round or oval shape.
    2. Let's stick to dark green, light green, white and black color alone. Please use dark green for the sunrise as well.
    3. Please position 'Abhis Farm' to the bottom of the logo.
    4. I don't want the tag line to be so prominent and so please help to reduce its size.

Just came across this logo today and looks cool. Please check out this link which will give you a better idea. I wish I have seen this logo bit earlier.

Just my opinion, but if you put the 'Abhis Farm' on the bottom it won't be the focal point of the logo. Where it is now your, at least my, eyes are drawn to 'Abhis Farm' which is what I think is necessary for a good logo. Like I said just my opinion.

  6. Dear 1970Forest,

Many Thanks! But I feel it is too simple. I like Ishkey's theme and Iam sure after few revisions it will be a perfect logo. Once again thanks for your help.

  7. Thanks for your opinion rmorale. As Iam considering round or oval shape, not sure which one look better. Let's wait for the update from Ishkey and also would like to hear his opinion too. Thanks!

Great Job! Simple, Clean and Neat. Can't thank you enough for designing me this wonderful logo.

In fact I am confused now as both looks good. Will you be able to provide me vector file of both the logo's? Thanks!

    I like the oval one.
    Ishkey, your face has changed!!

  13. Dear CoverPea,

After comparing them side by side, I too like the oval shaped. It has more space than the round one and so the contents are more clear. Thanks a lot for posting your opinion!

I too think that the oval one has better presence and looks better visually

'Face change' yep rather unsettling Mr Ish...where's that comic terminator face?

    Heh Forest,

If you change yours, that'd be really unsettling. I've become really accustomed to that spinning tree...

No chance of change, took lost of changes to get to this....Designed by our own Ishkey (Mr Ish in my book) of which I'm glad to see him back!!!

  17. Dear 1970Forest,

Wise choice in my book (but its all about opinions)

Mr Ish has done you proud

  19. Dear Ishkey,

I just tried to open the EPS file in photoshop and looks like the complete logo is in just one layer and I couldn't edit it. Even I could not scale it with out losing the quality. Can you please help me on this please?

    From your 1st post
    5) Requested size of your logo:
I need logo as a vector image so that I can scale it to any extent.

Photoshop is for Raster images - AI is for Vector images
If I remember correctly you have to PLACE the image in PS ( using File ▸ Place). Using the place method, the .ai file is retained as a vector smart object within Photoshop.
