    Hi Guys,

I am looking for a design for my new sunday League football team. I'm going to be totally honest i was searching the internet for designers and came across a few designs from this forum by far the best standards i've seen so a massive well done. I am new to this forum and i know its cheeky to ask for a design so soon but I've been really impressed by the forum so far and will be helping out and contributing where i can especially down the photography line as this is something i love.

Here are the answers to the information requested and designs will be greatly appreciated

    1) What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
    Newbridge Kinghts

    2) What is your website address (ex: http:/site .com/; Site Name)?
no address as its a football team

    3) Description of your website or business:
Sunday league football team (soccer if your american)

    4) Search the Internet for any logos/designs on the web that you feel convey
the style you are looking for?
i love this badge especially how this knights is written
    5) Requested size of your logo:
its going to be printed on shirts so needs to be of a high resolution

    6) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)

    [IMG][IMG] love both of these.

    7) What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
text and imagine. I love the knights being in some kind of word art as the designs above

    8) What colors do you want to see in your logo?
Blue, grey and black will do the badge justice.

    9) What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
blue is our team colour so needs to be going down that path

    10) Describe the target audience for your logo
open age football team but still want something a bit different but not too childish.

    11) What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
just our name is the key anything else is free to the designer

    12) Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
will be printed on our shirts also on training equipment, website and all letter correspodance.

    13) Do you have other info or links you want to share?
    no sorry

    14) Finally we need is there a style font you prefer, please let us know.
Not for Newbridge but love the fonts above for Knights

Once again any help would be appreciated so much.

thank you for taking time to look at this for me

    Andy

Found a lot of Knights but none non copyrighted that were of any use, so created this one instead.
Maybe it will work for you.

Mate that badge is awesome to say you created it from scratch.
I'm going to sound pretty stupid or ungrateful and i really dont mean to but the only change i would make is i just need the outline of the helmet and wringing now black square hope that makes sense. Apart form that its definetly along the right lines thank you for taking time to put it together.

Nope doesn't make sense at all but that's ok, I've been associating with a Brit and a Aussie here on the forum for years and half the time they have to break it down for me into small details.
Guess I'm just simple minded, then again on my side of the pond we have Soccer and Football. hmm.gif

haha it's ok although i'm worried as i'm equally simple minded this conversation could go on a while ;).....

Basically If you look at the two designs n question 6 of the answers i have given they have no backround where the design you have done is in a black square. If possible how do i remove the black square?

    Hope that makes more sense.

I'm sorry about this i feel quite rude you've gone to a lot of effort and i dont want it to seem like i'm un grateful as i appreciate everything your doing to help.

If your from america my badge idea definetly was going down the mls route your badges are soooo much better than english football badges loads more fun thats why i love the writing of knights in answer 6 reminds me of the writing on San Jose Earthquakes badge.

Makes sense now - working on it.
Your not rude, it's just two different places in the world where the more you talk, the more you understand each other.
The badges over there are based upon the coat of arms tradition and ours well are just a newer tradition.
Here sewn badges are based on 14 thread color machines as a standard, for the same price you get for 3 thread color.

Here it is with the black background removed and a few fixes. It is on a white background only because this version is a jpg file (meant for viewing) when all is well, I will save in in a format for the badge and the website and printer.

Yeah thats looks great mate I always thought i wanted the writing more out there almost in the releams of cartoon like but i know thats a lot of work and what you've done looks great 200% better than anything i could put together so a massive thank you for your hard work.

I think it will look good on our kits and websites the team it self is part of a large national call centre in England where we are doing this to get fit, you pile the weight on being sat down all day. Plus our companies corperate sponsor is Shelter so we will be doing a lot for charity as well so the badge it a very important part of what we want to achieve.

    Thanks for the compliment.
Hand creating fonts is very time consuming and beyond the realm of this site. (I have to save somethings to make a living at). Here is the zip file with 3 files inside, the naming is self explanatory. Possibly if you get a site up somewhere you can give my site a plug ishkey.com
Let me know when you have downloaded it so I can remove the zip.
Come back and post up some photos.

That's a good color. It stands out and so does the font.
