Legacy Help needed for soccer club logo

We are a Start up Soccer club in Australia, and would love some help to complete a logo/badge from the concept we had created.

1) What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
Nillumbik J.S.C.
2) What is your website address (ex: http:/site .com/; Site Name)?
Just setting this up.

3) Description of your website or business:
Junior Soccer club - non profit , volunteers.

4) Search the Internet for any logos/designs on the web that you feel convey
the style you are looking for?
We have a concept created by a very creative young lady using a sketch package.
Would like the flames removed, lettering in a font like ariel.
5) Requested size of your logo:
Sized for a soccer kit badge and website. We have been told by suppliers an EPS or High Resolution JPEG would be best.
6) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)
Attached is the one the players and parents have voted best, but we have decided the flame is cluttering the logo.
7) What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
Text and image.
8) What colors do you want to see in your logo?
Black and green, as per the loaded image. The soccer ball can be just black and white.
9) What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
Red, yellow
10) Describe the target audience for your logo
Kids, parents, we are o.k with the design we have minus the flame.
11) What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
A soccer ball - the sport we play.
The Southern Cross - The stars we see at night in our part of the world.
The name of the club.
12) Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
Web site, posters and soccer shirt.
13) Do you have other info or links you want to share?
As much as i can think is above.
14) Finally we need is there a style font you prefer, please let us know.
Something straight like ariel would be o.k
