Legacy New football team in need of your help to design a badge

Hi, We are a new team called Osterley Wanderes F.C and in need of an expert! We are looking for a badge to go on to the new shirts for this season and after searching high and low for a free logo/badge website, you guys have been recommended to us from a team called West London Celtics. Could you please help?

1) What is the exact name you would like in your logo?Osterley Wanderers FC2) What is your website address (ex: http:/site .com/; Site Name)?We haven’t had a website set up as yet as we are waiting for the logo to be done so that we can put it on to the website.3) Description of your website or business:Sunday League football team.4) Search the Internet for any logos/designs on the web that you feel convey the style you are looking for?
I have 2 ideas. I am not sure if can incorporate the 2 or it will be too much. The first is below. The OWFC entwined in to each other. I just drew this on draw. I would like it to be circular badge. The second idea which I like the most is a man, possibly in a shirt with a 5 on the back (We started as a 5 a side team) walking under a bridge (Blue bridge maybe) The man could be walking on a road/path, but I will this to the experts.



I like the design of this badge but not sure how you can incorporate the man, the bridge and the Osterley Wanderers? I would also like EST 2011. The badge will mainly be yellow and blue as this is our colour scheme.

That's awsome!! I really like it. I like the blue one better, but could we have an outer yellow circle with Osterley Wanderers FC around?

I have reveiwed a few websites but not sure how much you want me todo before getting the final version? It will be going on the our kit and website. Because of your help, I will definatley continue reveiwing.

How you getting on with your team? I'm not even sure that I am going to the correct place, but the first thing todo is "Introduce yourself" if you haven't already? I then went to forums, Website reveiws and people are looking for advise and you opinion on there newly designed website. The reveiwing I beleive is all on this site and not external. Go to the "Community page" and just flick around. Good luck fella!

 

Thanks Tom, that is exactly what I did, I just wasn't sure if that was what was meant to be doing. Without sounding like i'm having a go at anyone I just wasn't sure what I was doing was right or not, I saw my post request for help being read quite a few times but got no replies where some people were doing less then me and were getting help, I just didn't know how it worked.

I'll keep an eye on things and see whats what.

Guys, I have been looking round at the different badges these guys have designed as I've found it fascinating how they get such great designs from the answers to a few questions. In this case the border added by 1970 really sets the badge off, amazing how a simple change can really enhance a design!!!

 

I Agree! From the details that I provided, to come up with such a superb design is incredible. designing the emblem was originally the most difficult thisn. But these guys made it easy!
