Software What version of firefox do you use

I use ver 3.6.25. I am using an older computer made about 10 years ago and the newer versions slow it down considerably.

A ten year old computer is like driving a model T car today, gets you where you want to go, maybe, if it holds up long enough. I was using a five year computer and all of sudden it just wouldn’t boot. I got a new one and it was like you were riding on a bike before and now driving one of those fancy sport cars. Hey Falcon, junk that computer.

I’m using version 13.0.1.

 

Why, it works for me, also the software might not be compatible with the new OS.
How many can say their computer is over 10 yrs old and has had no major problems ??

I'm on the beta stream so my ver changes all the bloody time - I like it though I can't imagine still using v3.6 O_O Do you not run into some issues with CSS compatability on some sites?

 

Now updated to a new Acer with win7 and a quad core AMD Athlon. Have compatibility issues with most old 32 bit software because Win7 is 64 bit. Old over 10 yr computer with Win XP runs 32 bit software with very few issues except it is slow. Now, able to assist many with compatibility issues because of experience. I am thankful for thumb drives to transfer files. Can't seem to get the hang of CMS though.

FireFox 11.0.

Works great. Personally I like it, I find it very easy to use and navigate. However they get rid of the Menu Bar (File, edit, view, history, etc) on the 11.0 Version (I don't know if they did this with earlier versions?) But I dislike that so I reinstated the Menu bar using the right-click option on the toolbars at the top.
