Hiya, I'm very new to this forum so I apologie for posting another photography logo/water mark request as I have noticed there are many. But basically me and my husband are in the final stages of setting up our business and needing a logo for shop front, advertisements, business cards etc.. and also a matching waterway. Iv noticed on a few other threats people have posted sticky notes?.. stating more details about their ideas for a logo. As I said Im very new to this so sorry for being clueless!.. Thanks

    1) What is the exact name you would like in your logo?Michael Shepherd Photography
    2) What is your website address (ex: http:/site .com/; Site Name)?n/a just yet
    3) Description of your website or business:A photography business specializing in children and babies both outdoor and home studio. Also do weddings but specialize mainly with children.
    4) Search the Internet for any logos/designs on the web that you feel convey the style you are looking for?http://www.etsy.com/listing/62176441/custom-business-premade-photography

I really like the style of the font on this one and the fact that the name is lower case with no capital letters. However would like the first name – michael in a light blue or a sage green colour and the small graphic not a bird but possibly a scribbly sketch of a camera

Like this style of writing too, but want the word photography in capitals. And our business is a partnership business but my husband is the photographer so this would be too girly for his taste.
    5) Requested size of your logo:I don’t want a big watermark that intends to cover the whole photo, just a small one around 1-2cm in height to put in the corner of the photographs
    6) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)(SEE BOTH UPLOADED FILES)

I like both of the camera logo pictures as I like the simplicity of them, not too much camera details. Also like the black and white outline look instead of it being coloured it and especially love the simple drawing/ sketchy look to them whilst not looking too cartoon like and childish.
    7) What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?Both. Although I don’t want the camera image to be the focus point of the logo… just want it quite small.
    8) What colors do you want to see in your logo?Main colour would be black to give is a professional and elegant look. But want the first name Michael in either a blue or maybe a sage green colour.
    9) What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?Definitely no florescent colours and girly colours such a pink, purples, oranges etc.
    10) Describe the target audience for your logoEven though the business specialize in capturing children and babies it is obviously at the consent and payment of the parent, therefore we want to create a professional image to adults whilst adding a bit of quirky-ness and fun to the logo.
    11) What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?Target couples with newborn babies, couples that are getting married and couples with young children wanting to capture a special moment with all the family

    12) Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?The main use of the logo would be to watermark my photos but I am also wanting a logo to feature on my website, facebook page and also to add to small advertisements such as business cards and eventually a shop front when we find a studio to rent
    13) Do you have other info or links you want to share?n/a
    14)
Finally we need is there a style font you prefer, please let us know.
As shown by the 2 links above, I really love the squirly, scribbly type font very much like the ‘handwritten’ font on dafont.com
