  1. Greetings peers,

I am in NEED of a authentic logo that represents me, and my photographs. Something that stands out, something that looks good on my pictures as a stamp, something that I can use for black and white pictures. My name of my company is Aumunique Photography. I have attached what I have been using, and its time for something more sleek, more professional, and something I can use on anything. Pretty much timeless!!!!! Please help me! I prefer something that is transparent, and doesn't hold a background as well. (fingers crossed somebody will be able to help me) Thank you soooooooooooooo MUCH! AumuniquePhotography@gmail.com

    1) What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
    Aumunique Photography

    2) What is your website address (ex: http:/site .com/; Site Name)?
Currently do not have a website, but the site is in the works now. This logo I am needing will be placed on my pictures, and posted to all my other sites I have going for promotion purposes.

    3) Description of your website or business:
New photographer that has no clue on efficient logos that are not overdone. Looking for something unique, transparent, and a little color. When website is created, I will be using most likely a black background with teal or hot pink colors.

    4) Search the Internet for any logos/designs on the web that you feel convey
the style you are looking for?

[IMG]I like the sleek look of this logo. It's transparent, simple, but elegant. The fonts are pretty cool as well. Maybe add a little color to this and it be perfect for me? I don't know. Here is the site: http://www.gavingough.com/ Instead of Photographer, mines can read Photography.

I also like the uniqueness of http://amydeputyphotography.com/ logo as well.

    5) Requested size of your logo:
Basically we ask this to determine the graphics resolution and what it will be eventually used for.
Is the logo to be used solely for the web? (low resolution) I will need one for my site eventually.

Will it be made into a poster or printed on shirts? no, only put on pictures, and website.

    6) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)
I prefer no images within my logo, just letters....Maybe the first letters being oversized? I don't know, and that is why I have turned to the professionals.

    7) What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
This will help the designers know what type of logo styles you are into and will create your
    logo accordingly.
Text Only - Includes a text only logo which is a logo with just text and some extra effects.

    8) What colors do you want to see in your logo?
White, Pink, or Teal....for weddings I may need a bit of gray color one, and then all other logos I can do a hint of pink or teal....

    9) What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
    green,blue,orange,purple,yellow....etc....

    10) Describe the target audience for your logo
My audience is pretty much anywhere from a newborn to a 60th wedding anniversary.

    11) What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
Sleek, Professional, Fun, and UNIQUE. I would like to own up to my name that I call my company.

    12) Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
Website, Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, and Pictures on sites.
    13) Do you have other info or links you want to share?
    N/A

    14) Finally we need is there a style font you prefer, please let us know.I trust my designers to pick a great font for me. I canNOT wait to see the outcome. I truly appreciate this site, and the help.

    P.S
I have attached the horrific first logo I ever used.....

This sounds like a very interesting project, i might have to give this a go for i am a photographer myself xD

  3. I do not know how long you have done photography, but I must admit I am fairly new to this. I enjoy, and love it so much, but at the same time there's so much to get in place. I know that without this logo, I pretty much cannot brand myself. I have been doing alot of photography and just using a simple font spelling my name out, and just want something that represents me and my passion. I look forward to seeing what you come up with. I think this site is way cool!!!! Do you have a photography website? Thanks for your help btw!!!!

  8. Thank you for such the quick response. I absolutey love this logo, but have a few questions coming from your experience. First and foremost is the pink appropriate for me to post on my personal pics for advertisement? Also if I were to do black and white pics would this logo go great with the pink? I guess I want to be profesional, but at the same time represent me being a woman as well. I hope that makes sense. Needless to say, I had another suggestion from my peers while they looked at this one you created. They said you were very talented. I told them YES you are. Anywho, the lettering you have in the middle could there be a way you use that lettering and spell out Aumunique Photography, but the colors of the lettering have graffiti coloring in them?

Like the A from top all the way around has different colors in it all the way to the last letter P, or from your experience is that too much? If so, I will go with what you created!!

Just if I do go with his....can I get different instances of this version Like keep the pink, and one with the Pink White for black and whites? Unless you agree I can get away with this logo for no matter what pics I take? Thank you soooooooooo MUCH, and I look forward to seeing the end results. Aumunique

*a bit long winded becase I am excited.....thanks again!

I know the logo you are talking of, but IMPO there is tooooo many letters in the title of your CO and would not look right, (did try but a no go IMPO)
As long as you know what YOU want, I will work with you on it, post a standard pic, and I will show you the watermarks and how they look (and before Ishkey moans at me, yep not mentioned the charity donation, soz private banter\0

  10. With the first one you created, I love the sleekness of it. I love it. So I want to see if I can get different versions of it. Like one with no color, and one with the pink AP, and then one all completely white.......

I am ready for this logo....thank u! I want this one!

I've had another go at your logo.

    Aumunique logo.png

Once you've got the final logo, the designer can create a semi-transparent version that you can use as a watermark on your photos. Example:

    Aumunique logo example.png

In my experience, professional photographers DO NOT put coloured logos on their photos. Viewers will always notice a watermark, so colour just further distracts from the photo and there's the chance it will clash.
I suggest going with black-and-white; it's classic and you can't go wrong. If you want colour, put your logo on a coloured background.

  12. Ok i like the lettering in this logo, but could I have it elongated more, and less bulk. I don't know if that makes since, but something where the AP are wrapped in the lettering itself? I don't know if Iam describing the right way, but I love the lettering, just not the positioning.....and I agree the coloring is a bit skeptical, so i'll stay away from that as well.....thank you so much for input and help....

Um I'm not sure what you mean by "something where the AP are wrapped in the lettering itself". Can you try and find an example of what you mean?
And does "elongated more, and less bulk" refer to the "Aumunique Photography" part?

  14. I like the lettering on this logo, but it seems a bit bulky with the huge AP on top....yes I guess I'm trying to say is there a way to have the Aumunique AP Photography flow a little better, and not so big?
