Legacy Need a logo for a podcast

Hey guys. It's Sag. One of my classmates started a podcast and needs a logo. I told him you guys were the best. He liked my drawing. I was wondering if someone could polish it up.

1) What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
The logo should have the letters "FWR" underneath. It stands for Free Waves Radio.

2) What is your website address (ex: http:/site .com/; Site Name)?
The web address is http://www.freewavesradio.wordpress.com The logo will be placed to the left of the words "Free Wave Radio" where the 3 circles currently are.

3) Description of your website or business:
Free waves radio is a podcast for a budding community of engineers and people who appreciate music to interact and share information.

4) Search the Internet for any logos/designs on the web

5) Requested size of your logo:
(low resolution)

I'm going for an old school radio tower with waves coming out of the top.

8) What colors do you want to see in your logo?
We would prefer that the colors blend with the site's colors. I think a solid white logo would like best on the site and if its possible a version of the logo using colors from the site on a solid black or white background for use elsewhere on the net.

9) What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
Doesn't matter.

10) Describe the target audience for your logo
Our target audience are engineers, audiophiles and people who like to listen to music

11) What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
Music, fun, and freedom of speech

12) Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
Website, iTunes,

13) Do you have other info or links you want to share? No.

14) Finally we need is there a style font you prefer, please let us know.
As close to the draft as possible but we're open to suggestions.

 

Hey CP, Could you make it bigger? then my friend can scale it down as needed for the site and other sites like iTunes

 

CP that's amazing! Everyone loves it over here!! Once again, you've outdone yourself. White looks perfect on the site. And the vector image would be much appreciated. It's actually 3am here and we're recording a podcast right now .
