Legacy Need a DJ Logo

Hello. My name is Travis and I was hoping someone could please help me with a DJ logo. I'm impressed with some of the logos I've seen on the site so far. The name is Showtime Entertainment and I have a pretty good idea of what I'm looking for. I want a DJ spinning a record above the word Showtime. The O in "Showtime" would be the record. Then underneath the word showtime would be Entertainment, in a modern cursive font. I would actually prefer one in color one in black and white. For colors I like maroon, red, black and gold. Think of a stage with the old school wine colored curtain. I actually wouldnt mind if it were on a stage with curtains in the color logo.

I'd certainly be happy to tip. I also don't mind helping review websites in the mean time, if you could point me in that direction. I am more than happy to contribute.

My target audience varies from clubs and bars to weddings and corporate events. I really appreciate the help. If there's anything I can do to help please let me know. I can try to promote and send referals... Whatever you'd like. Thank you!!!

It will vary. I will probably use the black and white for older crowds (weddings, corp events) and the color logo for a younger crowd, ie bars, clubs, etc

I want it to be classy, but with some style. I'd like for it to demontrate energy, but also professionalism.

IshKey, I'm loving the backwards treble clef as the S in showtime.

Cracking idea.

 

I like the design a lot. I think the name pops and the background is perfect. The only thing I keep running through my head is I don't know if I like the color of the DJ. However, I can't really come up with a color that would work better either... lol. Any suggestions?

 

Ishkey did you do the curtain in photoshop or illustrator? I had to do one on a flyer a couple of months back and was a nightmare to get that done lol managed to do it in illustrator though..

Didn't take much time to do but it does take a few tries to get it perfect.
