    Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for help with our team crest. We're a youth team based in Hartlepool with teams at u11s and u10s age groups currently. basically we have a crest that was designed by our embroider, which we're reasonably happy with but we don't have a digital version for letterheads or a website which we are just trying to set up. I have a photo of the crest which Ive attached.

As I said we're reasonably happy with it, although its basic, so if anyone has suggestions for improvements then they'd be appreciated. We try to model ourselves on Hartlepool United so very much stick to the blue/white, although maybe a gold trim would be good.

If anyone can assist in producing a digital versionn then it'd be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Paul

    Hi Tomw,

I've read the sticky and have been trying to find something to help out with. As I'm very non-technical I've mainly been looking to contribute to a review of some kind but most seem pretty well covered at the moment, although I'll keep looking. I've also posted an introduction on the relevant board with a bit more info on me and my background, with the aim of providing help/assistance in these areas If I can. As I said i have no idea on technical things so very much in the realm of first impressions of general member of public or even things like proof reading etc

    Thanks

    Paul

Hi Paul and welcome to FWT. I was saying that in jest. There were many new members here that asked for logos but gave nothing back. I can see you are not among them as you have already helping out around here. I’m sure CP will come up with an improved version of the crest for you.

Hartlepool has a long proud history. Hartlepool was originally two towns, the ancient town of old hartlepool, known locally as the Headland, and the more recent west hartlepool. They amalgamated in 1967 to form what is now the single entity known as Hartlepool. Surrounded on three sides by the sea, So why not add a ship to your badge.

    How about this style?
You didn't mention what colour shirt the badge is to sit on so I've shown how it looks over a blue and/or white background.
(good idea about the ship MM)

    Hi CovertPea,

That's fantastic and just what I was looking for. The only thing is, would it be possible to change the date? It should be 2006 rather than 2008. Sorry about that I've just realised how unclear it was on the photo I put on and I should have made it clearer

    Thanks

    Paul

For now, it's bed time here.

Let me know when you have the file downloaded so I can remove it from the forum.
