I'm a Grandma

    I haven't been around FWT as much in the last week and here's why...

    I'm finally a grandma and being such now qualifies me to brag!
    What makes these cuties so special is that their Mum, (our only child) was told she couldn't have kids. Aged 34 and out of the blue she finds she is pregnant with twins!
    So here they are, a girl and a boy, born on Wednesday morn to an extremely happy Mum and Dad and grandparents that are totally over the moon!

    I didn't think you were old enough to be a grandma
    The advantage is you can spoil then and give them back to their parents

    Wow! Congratulation Grandma. Join the club. I babysat my two grandsons till they were old enough to go to school. Now I'm doing it part time. Yes, Falcon is right, you can spoil them and give them back to their parents.

    Being told you can't have any children and then having not one, but two children that is just wonderful.

    Congratulations, they were right, she couldn't have a child, she had two.
    Now you can knit booties and a couple blankets.

    Thanks for the congrats guys (and the nice comments about me being too young to be a Granny) :D
    And I sure DO plan on spoiling the pair of them.
    Can't knit, can't crochet. The best I can do is create a picture of some booties in photoshop!

    Felicity and Nicholas are only 6 months old. Their birthday isn't until the end of June.
    They are more adorable with each passing week. Felicity already has 2 teeth and about to cut a 3rd, Nicholas is lagging behind on the teeth department but is likely to be sitting well before his sister.
    Here's a recent pic. Hard to get them smiling in the same shot.
