i must say for someone to come up with that is ludicrous!!! ive always found people who are left handed or footed usually have a strong throw strong kick and generally are stronger.just more stupid science talk!!

I don't think that being left or right-handed plays a big role in ones abilities, it's more about nurture, nature, habits and the consequent skill set that you acquire.

People always try to categorize people by simple internal categorization, but always forget to look at the far more important external factors. Two of which are stigmatization and classification of a minority group.
Classifying your own minority group as superior or inferior in this case is as wrong as stigmatizing a group.

How about doing a research to test if stigmatizing left-handed people leads to less confidence and there for a false sense of their own abilities?

    Who voted for True Ambidextrous?

I'd like to ask him how it feels to be able to use both hands the same way.

Professor has lost it. I agree with Mimoun whatever hand is your stronger side doesn't really affect what you can or cannot do. I believe if you simply put your mind to whatever you want to do then you can do it.

I'm right handed but i've tried getting used to my left (helps me out whilst playing football :p).

Dont you use your feet in football?

Why would you need to be able to use both hands?

EDIT: It occurred to me you might have meant AMERICAN FOOTBALL, am i correct?

Oh sorry I wrote that wrong lol no i'm talking english football :p (Soccer in American terms) and I meant being left footed as well not just being left or right handed because some people can only play with their right foot (like me) so i'd rather try and learn to use my left as well.

My daughter has an MS in Psychology and says there is no conclusive evidence that being left or right handed has any effect on your abilities.
    (Thats the way they talk).
She is working on a PHD. I said is a PHD a "Public High School" diploma.

I think some of the professors are mentally challenged.

We believe some of her professors were mentally challenged or plain lazy.
Some did not even review their lessons or videos because they had errors or they were seriously mentally challenged.
Not a good showing for a PHD (Poor HighSchool Diploma).

Remember they do research. How long do they say it takes to petrify a tree.
We watched St. Helens erupt and when they investigated some of the trees were petrified. So the answer is less than a minute (not years as they claim - they forgot termites eat trees). These same professors do research on left handed people. I took statistics. You can make it say what you want if you don't use the correct (right) formula or use the correct (right) procedure.
But, it can be very accurate (normally within 3%) on some topics like predicting voting. Many times it is inaccurate because of phone polls. How many people lie over the phone. A lie is by commission, omission or ignorance.

Hey Falcon, are you talking to yourself again?

Those are very interesting facts and numbers. Thanks for sharing.

I'm right handed. Who in their right mind use the other hand?

This is my PHDPatiently Hoping for a Degree.

No, he's talking to me and anyone else who might find this topic interesting.
No one has ever 'polled' me (or any one I know) on any matter. Must be the same mob that are polled each time. Set in their ways and a fairly poor selection of representatives for the rest of us average Mr and Mrs Smith.

ME!!! and it's the lefties that are in their right minds.

    You know the old saying...
Left-handers think on the right sight of the brain, right-handers think on the left side of the brain. Therefore, only left-handed folk are in their right minds. :D

Yeah, sometimes it is the only intelligent conversation I can have, depending on the company I am with.
