Software Do NOT launch skype!

As the title says, do NOT launch Skype! A program named EasyBits Go has been installing itself without permission and you have to manually delete all files (Which are embedded in many different location). This software acts exactly like malware and there is no way to avoid it after you have launched Skype.

EasyBits Go claims to be Skype's Extra's provider (which it actually is, but it has never needed to do this before), however, no legit program will ever install itself without asking your permission (In this case, Skype asks you for permission, but by the time the permission dialogue appears the program has already installed).

Skype have not commented on it yet, so until they do, I warn you, do NOT launch Skype.

    UPDATE:

A skype moderator has said this:

    UPDATE 2:
It's been suggested that this may be using a browser exploit and hooking into the Skype API to install itself. It's unconfirmed, but this is unfortunately possible.

If you have already opened Skype and been affected by this, this is what I suggest to do (From my post on the Skype forum):

Thanks for the heads up Recy.
Hope they get that fixed asap. I don't use the program myself but have friends that do. I've only heard good things about Skype, doesn't take much to lose a good rep (and customers).

Easybits is bundleware an euphemism for crapware.
It's not only on Skype, but on many other products.

This problem is only on the Windows version and not on the Linux, Mac, IOS or Android version. Kind of ironical considering that Microsoft just bought Skype for $8.5 billion.

EasyBits confirmed as malware. I have, so far, identified 9 trojans, searching for a rootkit.

I know that EasyBits is apparently legit, but they have either turned rogue or someone is infecting machines and impersonating EasyBits.

I still don't trust it or Skype's response. Something's fishy...
