Legacy DJ logo request

After seeing the work you guys do, has made me want a new logo. I am a DJ/Producer.

1) What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
Dj johnny qwest


2) What is your website address (ex: http:/site .com/; Site Name)?
Not sure on the domain name as of yet


3) Description of your website or business:
The site will promote my music as well as events that I am at. I do mostly urban music(hip hop, mash- ups, remixes ect)


4) Have you found any logos/designs on the web that you feel convey
the style you are looking for?

I am a big fan of graffiti. My current logo is in the "brooklyn kid font" that i made myself...lol The vision I have is my name with a symbol.
I want to create a brand. A character maybe?

5) Requested size of your logo:
The logo will be used for web/biz cards. Maybe t-shirts

6) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)
Drawing a blank as far images. I implore the designer to really think outside the box. will get back to this.

8) What colors do you want to see in your logo?
Blue is a must. I am a Yankee Fan, and U.N.C Chapel Hill grad. Also like, grays, and black. I am open to any colors other than pink. lol

9) What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
Pink and please no female body images

10) Describe the target audience for your logo
My audience is vast due to playing an open format. I would say children are excluded. The youngest my audience go's is High School
Something a little flashy, maybe even borderline tacky by some.


11) What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
I want to provide visual stimulation. Not be cheesy, but crisp, edgy

12) Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
web, print,stickers,shirts, cd covers


13) Do you have other info or links you want to share?
I am looking for an image of and old school boom box...

14) Finally we need is there a style font you prefer, please let us know.
Brooklyn kid. I have it if anyone need it.

Oh yeah, I am not stuck on the Brooklyn Kid font. If there is a better font/graphic combo, I am all for it.

Enclavean, I like it. Is there a way to incorporate headphones? Kind of like the example i posted? Or even have my name wrap around the headphones image? Hope that isn't asking to much... And yes I have tons of music and fxs. If you want I could maybe score your videos

Iskey, thank you for resizing that for me. As far as the whole brand thing, the image could be as simple as the nike swoosh. I truly hope I am not asking for to much.
