    Update
Very bizarre and scary night - a record for us here in Georgia 136 Tornadoes, wave after wave of storm cells with winds up to 129 mph, lighting strikes at the rate of 100 plus a minute, hail the size of baseballs. One Tornado dropped out of the sky at 1/2 mile wide grew to a mile and stayed on the ground forever, obviating everything in it's path, some buildings a pile of rubble others completely gone, no trace of them. The sound was deafening, the pressure on the body unreal. High shear winds snapped trees in half. The house untouched but the old barn in the lower 40 totally gone only splinters of wood remain. Had to be a higher power watching out for the wife and me. Never want to go through that again.

Yeah got agree with Forest glad you and family are good. In Scotland we moan when we get rain and then moan that it's to hot when we get the sun. We are a funny bunch lol

Glad we don't have tornadoes down here. If I had to go through that I would lose it completely!
Such bizarre weather extremes reported almost daily around the globe. Methinks the Man Upstairs is not a happy chappy!

Good news to hear you and the wife are safe Dave. Someone must be sending prayers your way.

Early yesterday morning I was reading the post below, the heading has changed since first released. Haven't heard of tornadoes this bad for quite awhile. Living in Illinois as a child, I witnessed some damage at times left behind, we'd all head to the basement til it passed though persons never seemed to get hurt. It's always good to see/hear people have made it through natural occurrences.

Storms and tornadoes kill scores in southern US

BBC News - Storms kill scores in Alabama and other south US states

I'm not caught up in the Royal Wedding, didn't get a personal invitation.

    Thanks everyone
Taking a break this morning from the other days events before we go back out.
Had been out yesterday helping the neighbors, gather what personal items we could find, covering structures that that still stand but damaged, looking for missing people in the rubble.

Had to give up my ticket to the royal wedding - you should have told me earlier.
