@reganstar: I'm making the settings and imprint links a bit larger.
@Aaron7pm: Thank you. For customization, you need to have Cookies enabled. You don't need to register for the usage of Vareside which requires the settings to be stored somewhere else -> Cookies! By default, all major browsers like IE and Firefox save Cookies. What bar at the bottom do you mean?

 

I like the "look" of your site. It's really easy to navigate, and ~ like I said before it's nice to look at. I didn't notice a slow loading problem...maybe you've fixed it by now?

 

I did make some minor changes shortly after posting my reply. But maybe the loading issues are related to where the user is. Maybe some more Chinese walls to get through ...

Hi mate, this looks nice,a bit slow though, also try another approach on making the links much more distinctive from the background, but over all very good!

 

i love the overall look, however it was very slow to load and use.

 

Thank you for your positive feedback as well as mentioning the speed issues. I just reduced the amount of Javascript and imagery used on the website. I know the settings page is very slow because of the massive amount of images displayed but at least the frontpage is faster now - and it will continue to become faster.

 

Your background image is there but the darker/lighter background takes a long time to load. Your pages are just really large and it's hard to read anything before the whole thing loads. Other than that it looks great!

I think your favicon is trying to fit a large design into a small space. The letter in the middle doesn't look smooth.

 

Its a very nice website and all, with a great look, and it loads fast for me, but is it more of like a website visitors would make their homepage or an entertainment site? I'm kinda confused, I always thought of entertainment (I have an entertainment site) as videos, games, comics/cartoons, comedy, etc.

Your logo look good and I really like that you can adjust your background and settings. I like how right from the start, you give the user the ability to customize what they see. But, what exactly is the purpose of the site? Is it just for links to other sites or what? If you could make people understand more the purpose of the site more, it would help possibly.

 

I like the site. Maybe break out all those icon buttons onto a different page after selecting the language? It gets a bit lengthy, and I found myself skipping to the next section pretty quickly.

 

It's nice, simple, nothing too fancy, I like it! On a personal note, I don't really like the orange. But hey, that's just me! I like how everything is organized and such really well made!
