    That's strange. There's a wsdesign.co.uk AND wsdesign.com

If you owned the sites and wanted to advertise, why not advertise a real domain? Rather than a free one.

Reported the post for suspected phising/potentialy harmful linking.

I think he is the same feller that is trying to launch an online magazine. I made an attempt of helping him with my CMS but he decided not to use it because he is not happy with the layout I made to his original design; even though the changes I made was to fix the errors in his design.

I think he is also trying to launch a web design business with this posting. I don't understand why he is using the domain wsdesign.co.nr instead of his own (websolution.revlimitmag.com/) as you can easily see by removing the frame.

Because its a portfolio website, simple as that. I wont take buisness from here thanks, nor am i advertising, you'll see ive help members on here so why the heck cant i link? you tell me?.. Ban me, suppend me, do what the heck you want as its no loss to me, its more of a loss to your members who need help.

You didnt offer any solutions to my problems so ive gone else where for a CMS.

Yes im a free lance web designer who contracts with large companys in the States and the United Kingdom. I dont need to advertise for more buisness as my clients see my work in hand.

Why have a free domain, as i own 6 domains already, 3 servers. I also own a Main server to offer out servers for others. Simple as that, easyer to remember.

Now do what you like as tbf, the above post stated i have no need to advertise my buisness, yet offer FREE Advice and Free help.

I've already got a Buisness, that i profit from. Im here to offer advice not get paying customers, half wont even pay for something on here as ive noticed. Im also offering out work to some other members on here, how long have i been in this for 7 years + 8 months..

So back the line. Dont exspect me to help anyone, Read my posts and see, simple

Here are answers to any question.

Why do you run a FREE Domain????...
because in 2000 i started a designing project in my last year of shcool, the name WS standed for Web Site, and the design is because i take on not just websites but graphics, games, casino ect. i then started to progress over the years and kept that domain name.. then i started to contract out, freelance. Now i earn an easy income of £5,000 per week before being tax'ed. So you think coming onto a website that STATES free website templates would benefit me? That is my name and i never ever needed to show my work to my clients, as everything was met in person and delt with via a full database view so they can see the website function not look at aload of pictures that hide things. They also can see it via a demo view of things i do and i sometimes produce and show a video of all my work so the Team of the client can watch this. Speaks 1,000,000 Words. I went to buy the domain which was taken. So i kept this one, You'll find a donate £100.00 Per 6 months to .co.nr
So why the heck are you here??...
Because i found this website within google, i found what i liked and that was a website where members needed help, i felt that maybe i could help members and show what to the designers what you can do if you put your mind to things.

Anything else you want just ask,

Perhaps you didn't see too well. This was the before and after I did your home page modification:

I also set up your site where each member can contribute articles to the magazine. Other features were ready for implementation as I have noted. I bet you didn't see any of them before you decided to uninstall the CMS. There are plenty of CMSes that are better than mine. You can try out some of them at opensourceCMS.com You probably can find more elsewhere too. Good luck with your search.

CP - This has been over the top from the day SimonJC joined.

Your posts You are right about the help, it wasn't much, but you helped.

So what? I have 3 servers (easier to remember than 6) and I'm sure there are others here whom have servers. Lots of people own a Domain.

We are all impressed with your talents and business savvy. Maybe the other biz people and you can get together and post some tid-bits for the rest of us.

Well maybe it is time you joined into the spirit of the forum and start helping those members who post genuine questions which require an answer.
Looking back on your posts - it's just not there. You might find, joining in being part of the forum will bring you new friends instead of controversy.

Simon have you ever considered that maybe this is not the Forum for you?

If you decide to stay, I rather you would try to fit in then Ban you. I ban to many pain in the neck spammers every day.
We have all had our ups and downs with some posts, just ask anyone here. You seem to have something to offer - why not give it a try.

    Thanks for the reply,

I do alot of help via the PM service this forums supplys, to where i help members with things as sometimes i dont have time to reply, sometimes i cant get online but it directs into my emails so i know when a PM has been sent. As of course i cant keep track and cant keep looking into the main borad, maybe ill try it next.. then offer advice in public.

I also would like to state on the advertising side of things, you maybe need to outline some terms on this as ive checked and nothing has been stated about ADVERTISING within this website.

    Much thanks

    That would be nice.

You are correct in your observation.
This is not a Forum about Advertising - It is About HTML/CSS templates.
The are copious websites and avenues for Advertising.
You have a Profile Page - Last I looked your site is listed there.
If you look back up in this post you are listed just as you typed it - I did not remove it. More than enough Advertising for a guy who really doesn't need it, wouldn't you say!

The problem with the PMs is the information exchanged never becomes public and so if you help another member via a PM only he can benefit.

Use the PM for really private conversations exchanging info which you do not want to become public knowledge. Keep in mind when posting an answer in the forum not only helps the original poster, but many other members who may have the same question later on. Plus your answer/help topic, may attract new visitors who have the same question, while searching the net, thus it benefits the forum and indirectly yourself.

PM is not too bad. He gave me a very critical comment about my project that I'm very happy it is remained between us

Tom, you can't do much about past side effects in a project. Sooner or later you will create a new release and you will document the changes including the problems. All applications are on this track.

Now if it's a security issue is good to use the PM in advance so you get time to fix the issue and prepare another release fast. Although eventually it becomes public knowledge (see the auto updates of operating systems no matter how fast they update there are still users who use old versions). Best thing with critical issues is prepare an update/patch or new release fast and document the changes

His criticism was mostly about my system is not meeting his expectation and overall low quality. No suggestions as what to do to improve it.

My goal is really just to develop a simple CMS that can be easily used by an average user to convert designs into themes. It's a shame many beautiful designs are not being used for that reason. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll keep that in mind.
