Legacy New Logo Challenge

I am trying to kill a few birds with one stone. I have posted for a new web template for my personal photography web site and wordpress blog. However that may take some time to get looked at and worked on, so I thought maybe I would have few logos worked on at the same time.

I need two logos for those sites. Anyone up for the challenge? I can post the request separately or together, you make the call.

1) What is your website address (ex: http://site.com ; Site Name)?
My site is FishEye Studio. I am currently looking for a logo to add to my wordpress blog.

2) Description of your website:
FishEye Studio is my amateur photography blog. I post images that I have taken and share industry news and other useless information. FishEye Studio is a play on word for me. It has to do with a Fisheye camera lens and another because I spend a lot of time in the ocean surfing and shoot underwater.

3) List 3 logo designs you really like & why:

4) Requested size of your logo:
Do you need the final image in various sizes? (various resolutions)
I need a format that will work for everything from the web to letterhead and posters

5) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)
I am sure I can come up with some. I have take many pictures over the years, I am sure we could find something.

6) Any colors you prefer?
I like high contrast colors. I don’t like fluorescent. I am fond of Black, red, gray 18% and white. I also like earth tones. I also like textures.

Did I leave anything out?

Here is my try I used one of your ideas for it and changed it abit. Like?

 

Woops didn't see unhallowedangels design but honestly that looks great not sure about the text but love the fish/eye image.

Try putting that image on a Dark Gray rectangle (like mine) because the colour will then really stand out and on the buttom in a simple clean text have the name 'FishEye Studios' in Black with a THIN (maybe about 1px) White outline and put a reflection on the bottom. Try that if you like just a thought, not sure if it'll work but here's my try anyway (as you can see my fish/eye image looks completely stupid in front of unhallowedangels design lol)

 

Very Cool... I like it. I like them both. Can I get the "s" dropped from Studios to read just Studio?

 

IF possible I would like to see the difference.

Well I didn't create that fish which unhallowedangel made so he'll have to do it if he wants and i'm not at my original comp at the moment so will be another 6hours till I am so i'll remove tht extra 'S' at the end..

Whilst you are waiting roam around the forum and try to help other that need help just like you. Give a review for someone's site, give design ideas in this section (you don't have to be creative) it would help us out a little or introduce yourself on the forum in this section Introduce Yourself - Free website templates .

oooo there's a problem lol i'm guessing it might be copyright free unhallowedangel have you checked that out?

ohhhh that fish wasn't created by unhallowedangel...oopz my bad I forgot about your description that it was in there but yeah need to check that out if you can

 

CovertPea very nice work. What about making the iris or pupal a camera lens? Like a Fisheye lens?
