Legacy Power/Melodic metal band logo

Hi all,

My band and I still need a logo, and i was wondering if someone here was interested in designing one. We are called Silverstitch and we are a power/melodic metal band. Our music is like Sonata Arctica.

1) What is your website address (ex: http://site.com ; Site Name)?
We currently do not have a website yet.

2) Description of your website:
As i said in point one we do not have a site yet, but should become something similar to sites like: Sonata Arctica | Official website, Nightwish - The Official Website etc.

3) List 3 logo designs you really like & why:
3 logo's we really like are the logo's of Sonata Arctica, Nightwish and Stratovarius. The logo's look really nice and aren't too complicated. We want a pretty simple logo, one that you could for instance redraw =)

4) Requested size of your logo:
The logo will eventually be used for everything, the web, but also shirts posters etc. So we would like a HQ picture, and a background color which can be easily adapted.

5) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)
No not yet

6) Any colors you prefer?
Colors should be blue/silver like, like the 3 logo's mentioned above =]

I would really appreciate it if someone could help us out!

Jep, was no succes
We had a few problems with time etc.
2 of us moved on and finally we started something new under a new name, which is working out actually.

Rough Draft

Ok this is a rough maped out plan of what we should do with the logo. I need to ask a few questions. Do you like the font? Do you like how the first and last letters have a unique design similar to most power metal bands? Also overall outlook.
