Graphics Amazing Photoshopping

    A member of another forum posted the below image hoping some clever person could work out how the effect was achieved.
    I thought it might have been done with displacement mapping and multiple layers. I don't think I'm even close though.
    Absolutely brilliant work none the less!

    I reckon there really was a guy hiding in the paper and he's trying to eat that woman.

    I have seen this before, and I think it’s neat too

    I feel the reason they used the text on the paper was they needed some way to form the dimensional affect.

    The rest is easy no?

    First take a picture of a man in the hugging position. Then cover him with text layer then insert the woman.

    I seen this before and think it's just amazing.

    I think the person who done it probably had that image of the man hugging the woman and then added a text layer over the man using the wand tool to select him and then probably done a warp to make it look beveled and look 3D.

    Must have taken the person quite some time to create this..
