    1) What is your website address (ex: http://site.com ; Site Name)? http://www.goddesswithinone.com
    2) Description of your website: feminine blog, etc
    3) List 3 logo designs you really like & why: the one that is there need modification
    4) Requested size of your logo: large like 3000x whatever. I can resize as needed.
    5) Do you have any images/photos/clipart that can be used for the logo? (these must be copyright free) see below
    6) Any colors you prefer?
gold, brown etc. see existing colors

wondering if anyone out there a bit bored willing to do me a favor.
I made the logo you see on the top of the page there. They would like it to be different and it would take me a week google searching every step i wanted to do with gimp.
So if anyone wants to take this up I'd appreciate it, here are the details:

coming from the side of the "within one" should be some sort of cherry blossom branch
    http://www.pinkfrosting.com.au/persistent/...ucts/WS8882.jpg
sort of like that but with dark brown branch and pink blossoms with dark pink centers. less branches there though as trying to keep it thinner. One of the branches comes up toward the "O" and then there is a large blossom on the end of it that basically is the "O".
keep the goddess text a gold color and the "within one" shifted to the right but maybe it can be gold now or a dark brown (matching the branch?)
    any help?

    Don't worry i'll be checking back ;)
    thanks.

@ishkey, that is along the lines, I just would like more branches less flowers. take a look at the link in my second post. sorry didn't realize my first post link wasn't working. I envision a bunch of branches with small flowers on them, not real looking flowers but the drawn looking ones. pink with a darker pink center. ONE of the branches would come up and a large flower would be the "O".
Thanks a lot for the try i'll send anything I get to the ladies who post at the site and see how much they like 'em.

I showed them the one so far. They don't seem to know exactly what they want. What they want is something that is simple, elegant, and not too girly. (very descriptive huh) I think the large flower being an "O" makes it too girly.
Some are OK with the current logo just think its needs more "POP" and they do like an idea of cherry blossom branch with small flowers.
I work in IT so if any of you have IT related problems I can offer my help/advice.

Having re-energized my ying yang through immersion research of the site, I have come to the realization the other girls are right. What's needed is a "Luke Feel The Force" sorta a feeling from deep within sorta like when it use to take at least 20 years to achieve a black belt. "one must look within thyself in-order to move onward"
So I had to take one more crack at it and this is what I came up with. If you don't care for it that's alright, I am beter for just doing it. I know you understand me for that statement.

I thought the reflection with a ripple distortion would represent the Inner Look one must make to futher understanding, but never really being able to see it clearly, as life is a endless journey. I changed the font to put emphasis on the "G" as we spiral around in life until we can smooth out the road traveled on.

wow man. incredible job there. do you happen to have an .ai or .psd of that so i can resize good where needed?
even if they don't use this now I'll save it and you could see it a year from now on the next redesign. Thanks a lot.

Sure here is the zip file.
psd format - you will find the parts you need.
I still haven gotten use to Illiustrator and prefer Xara Xtreme Pro 4 which is what the goddess was made from and exported. Xara power over shadows Illustrator and any change made is instant, files are saved at the smallest size with no loss. I was studying a tutorial on how to exploit the ripple effect. Xara has a different file format which can be imported into Photoshop and Dreamweaver but not Illustrator so "she" is included as a jpg. Several parts were made that way but you should be able to use it. You will be able to chage the font and change the blue background behind the font but she is fixed as blue to represent water.
    Enjoy!
Hey maybe you could do the forum a favor and help out with a question or two.
